Goodbyes are always difficult. In a few weeks, my semester at Peking University will come to an end and with it my engagement at its German Faculty. It was a beautiful and eventful time in which I was able to make new friends, meet great colleagues and teach excellent students. With the third year student, I started a project this fall, a German blog, to collect their stories and to document their/our experiences living in Peking and studying German as a foreign language. It’s an ongoing project that will hopefully be cultivated further throughout the years, so that a little bit of our shared time and comittment stays in Beijing. I defenitely hope to see each other again, in Vienna or China.
说再见总是很难。几周后，我在北京大学的学期将结束，同时我在德语学院的工作也将结束。这是一段美好而丰富的时光，我能够交新朋友，遇见优秀的同事，教优秀的学生。今年秋天，我和三年级的学生开始了一个项目，一个德语博客，收集他们的故事，记录他们/我们在北京生活和学习外语的经历。博客会持续下去，希望在未来几年中有更多的发展，让我们一起用更多的时间和共同的承诺在北京留下一点痕迹。我真的希望能再次见到大家，在维也纳或中国。
Vielleicht sieht man sich ja einmal wieder, in Wien oder China. Es würde mich freuen!
