Im Rahmen meiner zweimonatigen Feldforschung, November bis Dezember 2013, zum Thema meiner Master-Arbeit “The People’s Republic of Challenges and Change: facing Matters of the Arts and Artists in the People’s Republic of China (1966-2013)” habe ich ein Praktikum in der internationalen Artgalerie “Organhaus”, Chongqing, absolvieren dürfen. Es war eine schöne Zeit und ein aufschlussreiches Auffeinandertreffen mit europäischen und chinesischen KünstlerInnen und KunstliebhaberInnen. Mein Danke geht an alle meine InterviewpartnerInnen, insbesondere aber an Takeo, Ni Kun, Yang Shu sowie LiLi, die mich in das lokale Leben, sowie ihre Arbeitsabläufe eingeweiht haben.
During two-months of fieldwork in between November and December of 2013, for my Master-Thesis titled “The People’s Republic of Challenges and Change: facing Matters of the Arts and Artists in the People’s Republic of China (1966-2013)” I got the chance to do an internship in the international art space Organhaus, Chongqing, as well. It was an exciting experience and a revealing come-together of European and Chinese artists as well as art lovers. My thanks go to all my interviewees, but especially Takeo, Ni Kun, Yang Shu and LiLi who introduced me to the local life, as well as into their working routines.
